When we moved up here with approx. a small 2-bedroom apt worth of stuff, a full-service move was $10K 5 yrs ago. We are looking to scale this down quite a bit, as this new job MAY not pay actual reloation costs, but give us a lump sum and we can do with it what we want. I would rather use extra $$ to buy nicer furniture once we get there.

HELP! :) PODS vs. UPACK vs. something else? We have done the uhaul thing too many times, and hired guys to load/unload... we will definitely hire the guys to load/unload but plan to do the packing ourselves.
