But are you getting in at 5th because lesser-informed communities aren't aware of the Latin/Basis entry grade? If so, I think that's inherently unfair and could lead to establishment of higher-SES enclave (while depleting DCPS of well-performing 5th graders, who'd probably be just fine stay at their ES for another year).[/quote]
