However, here is physicist Kaku describing dark matter, and that it is a vast area completely invisible to us except that we can detect its gravity. He seems to be suggesting that there are multiverses there and they are parallel universes to ours.

I watched this short video but saw no clear proof that dark matter is where the seven heavens may be. However, I am intrigued.

If your interested in other faiths, in Hinduism there are 7 upper planes of consciousness -higher worlds (heavens) and 7 lower.  They are called Lokas.

Multiple universe is completely within the scope of Hindu cosmology.

It is ingrained to think of the world and existence as in the billions.  Not as in the thousands as is the case with some religions.  As a result, Hindus would not bat an eye at these concepts because they do not challenge the belief system at all.
