http://wn.com/physics_by_michio_kaku_on_seven_heavens_in_quranflv I know that the Quran says there are seven Heavens. I think the Bible says the same thing too. Someone please correct me if I am mistaken. I'm not sure what Judaism or other faiths say about Heaven. However, here is physicist Kaku describing dark matter, and that it is a vast area completely invisible to us except that we can detect its gravity. He seems to be suggesting that there are multiverses there and they are parallel universes to ours. I watched this short video but saw no clear proof that dark matter is where the seven heavens may be. However, I am intrigued. Anyone hear about this?
If your interested in other faiths, in Hinduism there are 7 upper planes of consciousness -higher worlds (heavens) and 7 lower. They are called Lokas. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loka Multiple universe is completely within the scope of Hindu cosmology. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hindu_cosmology It is ingrained to think of the world and existence as in the billions. Not as in the thousands as is the case with some religions. As a result, Hindus would not bat an eye at these concepts because they do not challenge the belief system at all.
