Vaccinations are not experiments on human subjects.  The debate with the CDC study is a statistical one:

The subset of patients actually used to draw the conclusion showing that there isn't a link is actually a more reliable, rich data source than everyone who was recruited to the study.  They excluded those without birth certificates.

Wakefield is the fraud--and his number of patients in his infamous study--9, 6 included for the "article" 3 already showing signs of autism.
