I agree with this.  I always feel like I'm not cool enough to be in the salon.  I really hate that.  Last time I just said, ya know, forget this - and I went to a place in the mall and paid $30 for a cut.  No cool kids vibe, no ridiculous fees, I walked out happy.  I'm way overdue for color, however, and I'm afraid of getting color at a Supercuts type place.

Another thing, and I know this makes me sound terribly rude - I am usually really tired and I want to just sit there with my eyes closed.  I do not enjoy the mindless chatter that I feel obligated to participate in.[/quote]
