Way too much sodium ...
I thought sodium being bad for you was a thing of the past, kind of like how fat use to be bad for you but now isn't. Fore example, this article: http://authoritynutrition.com/how-much-sodium-per-day says not to worry about sodium.
This is a non-credible source. Yes, there is a suggestion that sodium doesn't matter but it also suggests to get that sodium from salt NOT processed foods. Some of those meals have 1000+ per serving. Google the WHO documentation
WHO seems to only concentrate on sodium's effect on blood pressure. They don't seem to take into account other impacts of salt. Here's another article- http://blogs.militarytimes.com/pt365/2014/08/18/study-too-much-salt-and-too-little-may-be-bad-for-you suggesting the optimal range is between 3,000 mg and 6,000 mg per day. Who recommends 2,000 mg maximum.
You do realize the article you reference uses Blood Pressure and cardiovascular disease as a benchmark ? Way too much sodium ...
Perhaps you will believe this article: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-08-13/healthy-heart-needs-more-than-pinch-of-salt-study-finds.html Research is beginning to show low sodium is just as bad as high. And the current recommended amounts are two low.
I do believe that you can have both to little and to much. What I am saying is FOR A SINGLE MEAL that is to much sodium. To each his own ...
