PP who suggested Dina.  I have medium brown hair.  She's done both highlights (blonde) and all over color (darker brown) for me.

And yes - she cuts well too.  I'm always happy with the cuts, but mine are pretty basic.  When I go to her (read: when I can justify spending the money), I go because of the way she colors my hair.[/quote]

Garegin at Aveda Bethesda. Great at highlights (I have blonde) and cuts too.

Someone recommended Garegin to me for highlights and I thought they were terrible - way way too bright for me, in my 50s.  He seemed disinterested in what I wanted too.[/quote]
