[quote=Anonymous]17:53 - i couldn't agree more, i was thinking the same exact thing...i swear to god i feel like that dimattina is at home in his boxers writing in and promoting himself and his practice. I had a consult w/ dimattina and was not impressed, he was arrogant, and unwilling to answer my questions...he was more interested in pointing out his silly "best doctors" plaque than answering my questions. i considered making an appointment with his colleague dr. gordon - but decided that i didn't want to take the chance with them - i just had a gut feeling about their practice. after spending a lot time and a lot of money at 2 other local clinics with no success, and after much hesitation, i finally set a consultation appointment with dr. greenhouse at sgfc. i am about to trigger for my ivf cycle and so far have been extremely happy with the service. they are extremely quick and organized with all of my appointments and both my doctor and my primary nurse have been very efficient in answering any questions that we have. they always explain everything in "simple terms" to me, and i am comfortable in asking question. i feel extremely positive and happy about the service that i have received so far. while it is a large facility, i believe that i am an individual at this clinic. yes i know many many other people are patients there, but i actually have felt so much more comfortable than the other 2 clinics i have been to; i feel like they really know what they are doing and hopefully i will be another one of their success stories. there is something to say about large clinics - maybe it is more competitive to work there; maybe they have many more resources to provide better labs and staff; and call it a "baby-mill" but hey - that's what i want - a baby...so i am willing to let them have a go with me. i have an extremely rare condition and dr. greenhouse has made sure that my file/records reflect this so that the team is all on the same page. at the other smaller clinics, surprisingly enough, the staff was always confused about my condition and even administered the wrong medication at one time... also, i find that the people i know who have gone through fertility treatments and who become successful always rave about their doctor/clinic....and why is that...because it worked. so congratulations to you and your wife, i am very happy for your success...but just because it didn't work at sgfc for you does not mean that they don't know what they are doing....
