Pretty quickly, the mailing list started to included dads, but we decided it was too late to changes things. When my wife designed the site logo, she added the "and Dads" to recognize that Dads had become involved.

We have registered "urbanparents" .com/.org/.net and may transition to them at some point. However, DCUM (which we used instead of DCUMaD) and dcurbanmom.com have become so much a part of our brand that we are reluctant to make changes. You should be able to connect with www.urbanparents.com if that would make a difference (note, it will change back to dcurbanmom.com once you connect).
