Yep, lots of tuna sandwiches here, either in brown paper or a metal lunch box with the Partridge family that did that have any cooling or insulating features.

I took a food handler's class and they taught us that the acid in mayonnaise acts a preservative, and tuna sandwiches or other sandwiches with mayo last a little longer than a regular sandwich.  Nonetheless, I usually send it with an ice pack or a frozen juice box.

I am curious about the sushi poster above.  4 hour old sushi is outside my comfort zone.

Finally, I'll add that my kid really likes blackened tilapia (I just sprinkle blackening seasoning on and stick it in a pan with a little olive oil) on a caesar salad. [/quote]
