The biggest problem with these classes is that they will not help your kid succeed if your kid is not already quite bright academically.  The content they teach is a shot in the dark.

However, since they use a ton of SSAT and other books to teach the kids - maybe you can do the same.

Inspite of all these caveats, I have recommended many of my friends whose kids are very gifted to use these programs.
