Be mindful that you are not projecting a negative attitude towards your kid about school, her abilities or what her year will be like. Kids pick up on the slightest change in tone of voice, the words you choose and facial expressions. Embrace a growth mindset for your child--don't box her in with low expectations or descriptors such as "challenging kid." [/quote]
