SPIbelt for running with music Capri tights will get you through more than half of the year -- only the coldest of winters require full length tights. Zip neck shirts -- these are the best for layering over another long sleeved shirt in the winter. Zip up for initial warmth, and zip down to cool off those cheap beanie/stretch glove sets - the ones you can buy at CVS or Target for $3.99. I find these best for winter running. thin and tight. easily stowed in a running bra, and no big deal if lost.
Ditto on the cheap gloves. I don't listen to music when I run - like to hear my breathing and the cars and dogs - but I always buy the cheap touch gloves from CVS so I can use them with my iPhone as well. Like she said -they are small, warm enough for most days, and no big deal if they are lost. If you are female - I love running skirts. Don't have to be as short as running shorts if you do not have proper thigh gap but much more comfortable than capris. I only run in those or long tights if it's cold. I buy most of my workout gear at Target - Champion stuff works fine but definitely having performance helps. I'd have a warm jacket for winter with thumb holes - but not too heavy.
