Behr Premium Plus is amazing and really, all paint will require 2 coats unless you're an expert in loading your paint roller/brush to get sufficient coverage the first time. Most of us run the rollers over the walls too much which means not enough paint is saturating the wall; however you don't want to overload your roller and drip so most people are better off doing two coats. I've painted with open doors/windows and circulating fan to help dissipate odor; I don't have any problems with Behr regarding lingering odors. Spend your money on good paint brushes and rollers; properly prep your walls and do your cut ins well. [/quote]
