He eats roasted cloves like they're candy. [/quote] NP here. I'm Italian. I'm not sure about Koreans, but yeah, I can use 5 lbs of garlic in the course of normal cooking before it goes bad. I usually don't have to buy that much, but I grow it and I get about a 10-15 lb harvest every fall. Never had a problem with it going bad as long as I hang it and keep it dry.[/quote]
