Can you give him a phone so he can call you before he leaves school and as soon as he gets home? Can you do the walk with him several times making sure he follows all the rules of the sidewalk/road? Would he be willing to wear safety gear like some joggers do, in order to increase his visibility? Would you be able to make other accommodations when the weather is bad or if he got scared?[/quote]
