Yes it's a mystery!  God will cure one child whose parents prayed a little bit, but not another child who was prayed for by family and friends and a whole church community.
Sometimes God even cures the children of atheists, whose parent don't pray at all (but who knows, others may be praying on the sly!)

We do not understand these things, but humans are not meant to understand everything about God - we are merely human after all!

But we must understand one thing:  There is a God. It says so in an ancient book whose only cures came through miracles from Jesus, because modern medicine had not been invented yet.[/quote]
