My favorite spots would have to be Newport, Martha's Vineyard, Chatham and Marblehead but in any of those places it's as much about enjoying the coastal town as the beach. I'd spend some time at the beach in each of those places but it might not be the main focal point of the vacation (Martha's Vineyard is a possible exception)[/quote]
