What do you think of people who over-air condition their office buildings to such extremely cold temperatures that many employees are forced to bundle up with blankets and use space heaters in the middle of July? I think it's environmentally wasteful, and wish it was outlawed. In my workplace, it's mostly men, menopausal women, or obese people who demand such extremely cold temperatures - and they're mostly if not exclusively really selfish and dismissive of other people's discomfort.[/quote]

Key difference: Our space heaters don't make other people too hot. Hence the name, space heater. Your excessive AC affects everyone in the building.
