Me again. Here are the responsibilities listed on the VYS site:

The Team Manager is responsible for logistical management of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serve as a liaison with VYS in coordination with the AGC to arrange field space for practices.
•Works with coaches, trainers and AGC to help organize team functions.
• Monitor player registrations with the league for the whole team, ensuring that all materials are submitted correctly and in a timely manner, and that player passes and rosters are properly maintained.
• Ensure that a team treasurer maintains finances for the team, including payment of all league, training and tournament costs, as applicable. Financial matters should be handled by someone other than the team manager.
•Ensures that team registration for tournaments is handled appropriately. • Organize parent volunteers for all team-related activities.
• Identify at least one volunteer to serve as the Team Sportsmanship Liaison, the person responsible for reminding spectators to only make positive comments to/about all players, coaches and referees.
• Ensure that team players and parents comply with VYS policies, including Field Use Policies. This includes ensuring that at least one parent from the team is present throughout each practice session.
• Ensure that financial and logistical matters are available to team parents prior to and at the end of each seasonal year.
• Team managers are expected to follow and respect the direction of the Technical Director and the professional staff.[/quote]
