[/quote] Med School is a fantastic investment as even last in medical school will get you a primary care residency somewhere in the country. The reason why med school isn't as popular is purely down to the difficulty and planning required to get in. Any college grad can walk in and take the gmat today then apply for b-school. If you didn't do the prereq pre-med courses for med school in UG, you would have to take them (which would take 2+ years), then you would have to apply for med school (which is statistically a lot harder to get into than any other professional program...i.e. Harvard Med is a lot harder to get into than HLS or HBS). If you want to go to med school, besides the very few that do post-bac pre-med, you have to have that idea from the beginning pretty much. [/quote]
