Recovery for adult tonsil removal is AT LEAST two full weeks, and for many people three. It's excruciating. Totally worth it if you have recurrent tonsillitis, sleep apnea, or something else along with tonsil stones, but I dont' think it's worth it for just tonsil stones, no matter how yucky. An Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist can do the tonsillectomy. See any ENT to see if your tonsils are bad enough to make it worth it, but they will echo the message that you will absolutely be out of work for at least two weeks. [/quote]
