If you are "embarrassed " by a moderate republican. You are a fringe loonatic.
+1 Frank Wolf has been my congressman as long as I can remember and I am extremely sad to see him go. I am 41 and grew up here in Northern VA (McLean). I remember him talking to my 7th grade Social Studies class on the steps of the capital on a field trip into DC. We were a small Catholic school and it was very nice of him to make the time to speak to us. He was a principled man who knew how to work with people on any side of the aisle. He is not one of the johnny-come-latelys who are elected by extreme, gerrymandered districts. I miss the good old days when people in Congress actually moved here, with their families, and became a part of the community. This flying into DC on Monday afternoons or Tuesday mornings, sleeping in your office, and then flying out on Thursday afternoons only lends itself to more lunatics without a stable foundation in their family or the community, or who know how to work with one another. Thanks for your service, Congressman Wolf. You are and always have been a great man.
