Pp how have you stuck with daily gym going for so long? I usually get into 3 to4 month stints, then ssomething comes up. I'm at 3 months now and want to make sure this is a lifelong thing. Any tips for us? Also I'm the OP and agree too much chatter is bad. What I want is someone to high five me when I reach a PR or help with form checks, sharing programming, etc. I would ask one of the male lifters, but there is already so much ogling going on that I feel uncomfortable.
I just make it a non negotiable. I take 1-2 weeks off about twice a year but besides that I do a 60-80 minute work out daily. Ive gone through months/years where its more cardio heavy, months/years where its more strength heavy, I've followed various fitness trends (jazzercise, bootcamp, piyo, insanity) but I always do SOMETHING. I don't enjoy it everyday but I enjoy it most days. I have three kids and was a SAHM for many years so for a big chunk of my life that 1.5 hours a day was my only kid free time so it made it even more important. I also always go to a gym. Working out from home just doesn't do it for me.
