Psych studies have shown that experiences have a longer lasting impact on our happiness than things. I happen to think that it is a healthier message for your kids, too. But that is probably because that is how I was raised. Modest house, one modest car. Cool vacations. Limitless books (which are kind of like instant vacations to some of us).[/quote]
