Our DC is allergic to dairy and soy. Soy is in so many different products it's unbelievable. OP - does she react to soy lecithin? Most baking sprays have it as an ingredient, so you might want to ask about that as well as cross-contamination. Just curious, do you know why she asked for a store-bought cake? Is it because she's never had one, thinks they look like they taste really good, or something along those lines? Just trying to prepare myself for what may lie ahead for us...[/quote]
