This sounds kind of crazy, but the Pottery Barn music they play when put you on hold is such a great mix that there is a following (of which, I'm a fan).  Stuff by Ella Fitzgerald etc.  They've got a CD.

I have a little playlist I called "Driving with Kids" (done a few years ago when mine were younger--6,8 ish, for just that purpose of catchy tunes with clean lyrics.  Let's see:  On Top of the World, and Sing a Song (Carpenters), Don't Stop Believing (Journey…technically a bit edgy but goes over their heads), Saturday in the Park (Chicago) (also Does Anybody really Know what Time it Is? and Make Me Smile)  and Boston's More than a Feeling…
Asia has a long one Eye of the Tiger…

Also if raining (I love this playlist, so fun and mostly upbeat.  Songs about "rain" seem to really be about a new beginning…)
