Thanks all. Erie does seem to get really good feedback, but I'm bummed that their auto policies doesn't include roadside assistance. If anyone is curious, these are the quotes I got so far: Homeowners: Nationwide = $1,545/year Geico - $1,701/year Liberty Mutual = $1,292/year Erie = $1,541/year For Auto: Nationwide = $6,108/year Geico - $2,712/year Liberty Mutual = $2,477/year Erie = $3,035/year I think I will probably be going with Liberty Mutual
Good god, what kind of cars do you own and what coverage? You can add on road side pretty cheaply with AAA or something else, in fact a separate entity may provide better service. We have erie for a million dollar+ house and 2 luxury sedans. 1.1k for home 1.1k for cars We had USAA but switched all our policies to erie. Remember that erie and usaa are one of the few companies that offer 100% replacement coverage and no hurricane deductible for home insurance. Make sure you ask about those two items because if the costs go over your policy erie and usaa will pay for the full price and in the event of a hurricane you pay the standard deductible. I will never insure my home w/ state farm or any of these other companies with hurricane deductibles. http://www.propertycasualty360.com/2011/09/19/state-farm-conn-continue-talks-about-hurricane-ded
