If you want to look at a similar situation - reach out to CCPCS familie. Quite a few families did not move from 15th and Irving to the new location due to travel logistics. Some families really wanted to make it work - but in the end just could not swing it. Either they lived in MtP / Columbia Heights and did not have a car - or the bus routes were too much of a hassel.
That's a good point -- the move to Old Soldiers Home, when it becomes official and people try it out, is surely going to dissuade a handful of parents from CM, right?
Even if the commute is harder, you need a "better" option to change schools.
if the commute is harder - you need an option - not necessarily better. Some families left CCPCS for their neighborhood school. Families without a car could not get to the new location - and to their place of work on time.
Creative Minds is a much smaller school in its second year. Many of the families are founding families and very dedicated having put lots of time and work to get the school off the ground. Location isn't something to deter them.
