Good idea about Cub Run. Any feedback on that place? I am going to check out their website.
We had our DC's birthday party at Cub Run a few weeks ago. While the price is not as steep as at Tom Dolan's, I do have many complaints. 1. We booked our party to start at 4:30, with the idea that the kids will be in the pool until 5:30 and then proceed to the party room for pizza and cake. 2. Come 5:30 and we learn that the room has not been set up at all and that actually there's another party still going on there. They ask us to wait until 6 while they clean up. 3. Come 6 o'clock, all the kids are hungry. We proceed to the party room only to see that it is not setup. At all. Together with another mom, we ended up running around like crazy setting up the room, putting balloons everywhere. We were not supposed to do that per our contract which stipulated that the staff was to set up the room by themselves. Btw, I couldn't find any of the staff members to help us set up the room, they only showed up when it was time to clean up. Having said that, next time I will probably splurge on the cleaning crew of some sort or go to one of those all inclusive places. But you get what you paid for, I guess.
"Yikes" is right. OP here. Thanks for this feedback. I really appreciate it.
