[/quote] Good to know. I'd bet it was because the check was for a different bank. They would probably let her deposit it to her account & hold the funds until it cleared. Maybe someone new working didn't explain it, maybe her account was lower than usual, or first time bank employee followed the rules. Gone are the days when you can just walk into a bank and cash a check.[/quote]
