Well, it's a third-tier brokerage. You may save on commission but you may pay in other ways, like a mis-priced home.  Now, if you find a Redfin agent who knows GP well, that's one thing. But if you bring in an outsider to a particular market, you run the risk of being outclassed in many ways.[/quote]

Actually, I'm not. I've just bought and sold two houses. Curious why Redfin fans are so insecure that anytime anyone points out the obvious in a way that is less than flattering to Redfin that suddenly that person is an "agent" or has some "agenda." [/quote]

See, the thing is ... you didn't actually point anything out or make any valid claims against Redfin.  You just levied unsupported insults and  asserted that Redfin would be "outclassed" in many ways, yet offered none.  Give one legitimate reason and maybe some of us will believe you.  But right now, you sound like an agent who's scared that your business model is crumbling ... and the data-less assertions sure fit the agent MO.[/quote]
