An embryo is not a person. I say this as someone who is pro-choice, yet who very much wants to give my excess frozen embryos to another couple. You can have a lot of say in who gets the embryos, you can (and should) have attorney representation and a contract drawn up to protect yourself and specify things that are important to you. You do not need to go to a religion-based organization that most likely opposes and is working politically to end IVF because it's a procedure that creates excess embryos. The embryos have the potential to become a person. Even if every single one was transferred, not all would take. It is not adoption.[/quote]
