The number of applicants was the lowest in six years, and down to 2900 from over 3400 two years ago. Why is TJ losing its appeal?
Whites are too scared to compete with bunch of smart Asians. Number of black and Hispanic applicants remained about the same for the same period and the number of Asian applications increased somewhat. Only the white applications declined. Bunch of wussies. The world is becoming a Global Marketplace. Face the competition and face the challenge instead of running scared.
The number of Asian applicants also declined this year over last year. It could be they don't think attending a school in the U.S. that is two-thirds Asian will really prepare them to succeed in this country. Or maybe the area has just gotten so congested that Asian students don't want to commute back and forth from places like Chantilly, Herndon, McLean and Ashburn to Alexandria.
