She is disorganized and not very through in her homework (which takes a LONG time to compete a small assignment) and she'd rather pay attention to what is going on socially... I know pretty middle school.... but my concern...

My question is  for those who have medicated for mild ADHD, what were your reasons and how do you think the medication helps or hinders as DH and I are thinking of trying medication this summer to see if it helps her focus.
