When I do tip I actually tell them that the service I got was exceptional which is why I am tipping them. BTW, I do the same with hairdressers and most others. My one exception is servers in a restaurant who I know count on tips as part of their income. I think tipping is out of control with tipping being the norm for just about every service. I have seen threads where tips are being given to house cleaners, movers, hotel housekeeping, routine deliveries, etc. I will always tip for exceptional service no matter who it is but not because they are just doing their job.[/quote]
