Thanks, his GPA is in the lower range of that (estimate will be 3.90-3.95 at end of Junior year), but his 1600 SAT is much higher (~1450 with math being very high and could be closer to 1500 if he ups his critical reading which was lower than expectation).   So, I hope he has a decent chance next year.[/quote]

Just found some stats.  The GPA would be very slightly below average and the SAT would be at least 150 points above average.
