+1. OP, I am very sorry for your losses and for this troubling time. If there is any "silver lining" at least it is ONLY a DUI and no one - not you or an innocent passerby - was injured. If you have a clean record you can probably get the judge to accept driving school as an alternative with a fine. Do not go this without an attorney, request  a court-appointed attorney if you cannot afford your own.
