I'm glad my child is a good test taker, because without that ability I don't know how a child can be distinguish him/her self in this new curriculum/grading system. In our home school, basically everyone gets a P. Hardly any ES's are given and a child basically has to fail completely to get an I or N. With everyone getting P's all the time, the grades all look the same on paper, so standardized tests become all the more important. Not great for those with children who don't test well.[/quote]
