There are some schools that seem to have a great rep though only having existed for a few short years, but probably others just starting / diamonds in the rough that are probably very good.  What variables do parents look at?  How do you really know a school is "good enough" for one's standards without having your kid actually go there?

3.  What did you wish you knew when sitting in my place?  What were the most useful sources of information you actually used?[/quote]
