In the past, Career Day has included representatives from the medical, military, community service and transportation professions, Sperry said.

Sperry said the students are very excited about the upcoming event. “I think for some [students], it really gets them interested in a particular career field,” she said. “I think it’s something that they remember for years to come.”

Volunteers interested in participating can call Sperry at 301-497-3610 by April 4 to apply.
