We've tried sleeping with noise machines in our room and our kids' rooms, but they don't work.  And plus it's just super frustrating when you're teying to relax or get work done at night after the kids are in bed, and there's this awful barking outside.  We just moved to his house last June and honestly, if those dogs had been outside barking when we first looked at the house, we would've thought twice about putting an offer down.

So, I want to sit down and talk to both neighbors together, at a time when neither my DH not I are at their doorstep feeling irate. The thing is, is there any point to that?  It's not like they're going to get rid of their dogs and I'm certainly not going to do anything to the dogs.  Is there a way to resolve this that I'm not thinking of?  Thanks in advance.[/quote]
