 I could just cry for the amount of money I spent on Cool Sculpting with virtually zero results. I spend 3,900.00 for abdominal (upper and lower) Cool Sculpting procedures encompassing two treatments. While I did not find the procedure particularly uncomfortable or the recovery difficult, the procedure itself is just about worthless. My provider told me that I could expect a 40 - 50 percent reduction in fact with two procedures. Instead, I ended up with lumpiness, no change in clothing size and a lot poorer. You can expect only about a 27% reduction in fat according to one surgeon I spoke with. With Liposuction it's 84% fat reduction Woe is me, I was the fool to believe such balderash. FDA approved or not, it does not work in terms of the slight fat reduction one MIGHT achieve with this procedure. For me it was a total loss of hard earned money which I could ill afford. Bottom line, for a flat tummy, liposuction or tummy tuck is required depending upon the laxity of skin and strength of one's stomach muscles. Don't let yourself be talked into procedures such as Coolsculpting that give minimum results for a maximum expenditure of money. Sour grapes you bet. I think my abdomen looks worse now because fat remains along with hollows. I really believe it's junk science to a large degree. I think of all the time I spent in freezing water swimming and my stomach never shrunk one iota. Okay the technology is there within the context of those plates and the precision of freezing. This however, does not guarantee that you will loose abdominal fat. Additionally, there is the questio of diet. I have not gained any weight since my procedures which began in November of 2013, not one pound and still I have not changed one size. This is a good indication to me that procedure does not work. If you diet that doesn't tell the story either because you might loose abdominal fat with or without the assistance of Cool Sculpting. In conclusion, I would never recommend this procedure to anyone because it is so expensive, with very minimal results. The best results are achieved by Liposuction or Tummy Tuck. There is just no way getting around this fact.
