I moved to DC in December2013. Am I expected to pay full year resident tax to Dc? Do you know what form I need to file? Anybody seen this form in Turbotax this year? Initially turbotax advised the DC part year resident forms were unavailable. Then it emailed me and said DC form are ready. But the system keeps telling me they are not.
I moved out of DC this year to MD, and am filing part-year resident in DC and MD. Both part-year resident forms, DC and MD, popped up for me in Turbo Tax. I think your DC tax liability is prorated, so as I understand it (not an expert by any means), you would only pay 1 month of taxes to DC and 11 months to your previous state. https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1901227-how-do-i-file-a-part-year-resident-state-tax-return
