Yes, I buy him dolls, because that's what he wants.  I'm not going to force cars and trucks on him because it's "what he's supposed to do".  We hardly ever do playdates with boys, because he doesn't want to.  I'm being told that because he's 7, he shouldn't be making the choices for himself.  Any advice?[/quote]
