She wasn't dumb for asking.  She was honest on her application and assumed she wasn't hiding anything and that the person she was talking to already knew.   She was dumb for committing the felony in the first place, but I'm sure even she would admit that.  While I'm not sure someone with a conviction related to drug trafficking should be teaching in a high school, since the administrators admit that she was respected in the school they could have handle the situation better by not publicly humiliating someone doing a good job of turning her life around, especially since it was their mistake for hiring her despite her full disclosure.[/quote]
