I got push back on providing information to me and was told my son is doing just fine and not to worry. Well, I do worry because he doesn't feel he is doing well. I got general tips on the types of stuff to do with him - read together, practice writing, but nothing specific to what is being taught. i barely know if he is learning addition or calculus!

Is it standard Mont County practice to not readily provide this info to parents and that I should just trust the teacher? FWIW - we rarely have any of the projects worked on in school come home to us. We have seen one project that was done in art since Sept. Is parent teacher communication non-existant?
