I am not sure which forum to post but seems like this forum would be knowledeable. :) We just moved to MD and I have been trying to find parent/child classes for my almost 2 year old son to enroll. I am finding things are a bit different here and it seems like the type of classes I want to enroll are offered to only under 24 months (by Kidville and other places) or drop-offs. The other classes I found that are parent/child are more narrow such as gym-based classes, art, and music (e.g. MoCO rec ctr, MyGym, etc.) - not what I am looking for right now (I am enrolling him in a music class already). I found Rockville Community Nursery Preschool's parent/child class, which sounded great, but it is currently full. I am hoping to find a parent/child class or playgroup that has some kind of structure/routine (such as story, music, crafts, sensory development, etc.) in a class setting (not in a gym). My son has been taking classes like this since he was 10-months old and he really seems to enjoy a routine. Is there another preschool that offers parent/child class like RCNP? Or anything else that is similar in Gaithersburg/Rockville or nearby towns? Thanks!
