I'm 37.  We got pregnant the first month we started trying, but then I miscarried at 7 weeks.  Had a D&C.  Exactly 4 weeks later, I got my period.

Before all of this happened, I had suspicions that I had a short cycle.

Well, I started testing with the strips a few days after my period ended, and to my surprise, it came out positive earlier than most online calculators suggested it would.  So we started trying.

But then 2 days later, it tested negative (I still kept testing, even after the first positive, because I was curious to see how many days it would stay positive).  But then I was worried that it was a fluke, so I kept testing.

Then, a few days after that, it was positive again!  But by that point, we had kind of lost steam/found ourselves just really busy with stuff to try with the same effort as when it first became positive.

So now I just feel confused and frustrated.  I feel like we wasted this cycle of trying because the stupid strip made me think I was ovulating perhaps sooner than I was.

But I also don't understand why it would test positive, then negative, then positive again.

And now I'm wondering if it is just because it was the cheap testing strips.  And maybe next month, I should shell out the big bucks for the better tests.

To the Clear Blue Easy PP, did you get pregnant after using the Clear Blue Easy test?

Sorry this post is so long.  And sorry to OP, don't mean to hijack post, but the test strips are so confusing.  And I was sort of wondering if maybe I didn't ovulate (b/c the miscarriage and D&C messed up my cycle).[/quote]
