Do you know that she avoids caffeine like the plague during pregnancy? Or are you just assuming this is something pregnant women do? I had a latte ( 2 shots if expresso) daily with both of my pregnancies & my kids are happy and healthy,
She's normally a pretty hardcore coffee drinker (2-3 cups/day) and has switched to herbal tea. She has told me she was "off caffeine" her last pregnancy. She's a doctor and generally very easygoing about stuff like this, but obviously little to no caffeine while pregnant is important to her. I'm not so concerned about the amount of caffeine in the cookies (it's an incredibly small amount) but I just don't want her to think that I'm not aware of the potential issues regarding pregnancy/caffeine and that I've given her espresso loaded cookies or something. MY GOD I am totally overthinking this. But like I said, she's my boss and a doctor, and I am cautious to consistently show her that I know my stuff as a nanny.
